How we manage the two events
Immediately after the last 5k participant crosses the finish line we have all girls meet us at the finish line (same as the 5k). We then slowly walk the girls to the first start line for the girls aged 4 and under. We ask the older girls to stand behind the younger girls, but tell them not to run with the younger girls.
After the younger girls are lined up, we start them. Moms can run/walk with their little one.
When we are sure that all the younger girls have cleared the finish line we then walk the older girls to their start line. When they are all lined up and ready, we start them. Usually moms do not have to run/walk with their princess at this age but they can if they choose to.

The Little Princess Dash
The Little Princess Dash is a fun, short event for girls aged 6 years and under. Your Little Princess will be able to be “just like mom” when she get’s ready in the morning with her tutu, her own Little Princess race shirt and bib number. It’s always the highlight of the event seeing the girls lineup and run to the finish line into the arms of parents or grandparents.
